James has recently set 1 Senior County Record, 7 Regional Junior Records, 22 Junior County records and 1 British Age Group (National) record at a variety of distances including Freestyle, Backstroke, Butterfly in both short and long course distances.

 He has gone from strength to strength and has exceptional year, competing at the Olympic trials and the National Youth Championships, winning gold in the 50m freestyle and bronze in the 100m freestyle.

James loves to swim and has conitinued to train hard so that he reaches his full potential at recent competitions including the UK School Games, ESSA Schools at Enfield and the Midlands Short Course.

James is dedicated to his sport and has recently completed his level 1 coaching qualification to help others learn to enjoy swimming.
