50 week Annual Swim Scheme Programme
The swimming lesson programme has been extended to 50 weeks a year. This will remove the three term programme as currently exists and be replaced by an ongoing 50 weeks a year scheme with a 2 week break at Christmas. There will be no re-registrations after this December’s registration. Lessons that currently take place during the day, Monday to Friday (up to and including 3 o’clock lessons) will remain on a 39 week lesson programme for the year.
The benefits of the 50 week swim scheme year are;
- Children will progress faster through the scheme
- No termly re-registrations
- No queues
Direct Debit Payments
With the introduction of the extended swim scheme we are introducing a monthly Direct Debit payment scheme. This is based on a 50 or 39 week programme.
The benefits of the Direct Debit payment scheme are;
- Easy monthly payments
- No need to queue to pay at reception
- No need to find large amounts of money at the end of each term to register onto lessons
- Costs evenly spread throughout the year
- Swimming places guaranteed
- FREE swimming
A cash payment option is available payable every quarter which must be paid before the 1st of January, April, July and October annually. The place will be kept open for 1 week after this date after which time the place will be made available to the general public. For those on the cash payment option there will be an increase in costs in line with the annual price increase due on the 1st April 2009. The free swimming for children option is not available for those on the cash payment scheme.
FREE Swimming
As part of the Direct Debit payment scheme any user of the swim scheme who's payments are collected by D/D will receive free swimming during all public swimming sessions (subject to availability and Swimming pools admissions Policy) on the production of their NBLT Activity Pass.
Computerised Administration System
Following a recent update of the administration of our scheme, we are now using the most up to date front of house software. This enables the whole scheme to be managed more effectively and enhance the Swim Scheme experience.
The benefits of the computerised system are;
- The computerised system will speed up the transfer process at Reception
- There will be no further need of a paper system
- Swimmers can be added straight onto the system when joining the scheme
- All swimmers on the scheme will receive an NBLT Activity Pass
