Has been committed to Sport and Leisure in Nuneaton and Bedworth in the voluntary sector for well over 25 years, encouraging development and progress. As Chairman of Nuneaton and Bedworth Sports Forum and Public Relations Officer for Warwickshire ASA has some experience in communication and is up to date on available funding. Is a life member of Nuneaton and Bedworth Swimming Club, a past President of Coventry and Districts Association of Swimming Clubs and also a past President of Warwickshire ASA. Has an involvement in Heritage in Nuneaton and Bedworth as Secretary to the Nuneaton Society and is currently a Director of the Chilvers Coton Heritage Centre Trust with specific responsibility for grant funding. During 2005 Janet became a Member of the Executive Board for the Greater Warwickshire Sports Partnership. |

Pat Sowter in 2001 was British Indoor Rowing Champion for his category and became Nuneaton and Bedworth Senior Sports Personality for that year. He did this by training at the local Leisure Centres which he still regularly uses. He has a commitment for improving local leisure provision. He is retired but was a Manager and Director in the Engineering Industry. |

Former local government Chief Officer. Now works part time as a Consultant, mainly to an agency of central government. Experience of strategic planning and governance. Aware of grant and other funding regimes and decision making practices. Governor of King Edward VI College, Director of Nuneaton & Bedworth Council for Voluntary Service. Played cricket and rugby. NBLT pool and gym user, and a keen mountain walker. |

Has been committed to Leisure in the Borough for numerous years in the voluntary sector. As Chairperson for Nuneaton Club for Young People, responsible for funding-raising and the overall development of the facility which now provides extensive facilities for local people. Also plays a key role in the Local Sports Forum as the Vice-Chair and also Chair of the Volunteer Forum. |

Kat Hall is a Grants Officer at The Heart of England Community Foundation and a Trustee of Bedworth, Rugby and Nuneaton Citizens Advice Bureau. Kat has been involved in the community & voluntary sector as a volunteer since 1997, her volunteering began when she was a generalist advisor for the Nuneaton Citizens Advice Bureau, but has also been a strong supporter of Credit Unions. A mother to 3 grown children, Kat is aware of the value of sport for good physical and mental health and keen to encourage the availability of sport and recreational facilities to all. Kat was born and raised in Nuneaton and attended Manor Park School. |

Retired insurance broker having previously owned a chain of 36 motor insurance offices Represented Staffordshire in rugby and captained Tollgate squash club when living in the Potteries 17 year old twins currently play for Nuneaton Borough youth team. |

Tony is married to Irene and has 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. They have lived in Bedworth all of their lives. Tony has been a Labour Councillor for 27 years representing Slough Ward. He likes cricket and his hobby is growing dahlias for show. |
