Sporting Profile: In 2008 Daniel had a fantastic year. Danny became West Midlands Athlete Champion, Warwickshire County Cross Country Championship, Midlands Cross Country, runner up in the English National Cross Country Championshipsand 4th Place in the Inter Cross Country Championships.

He also put Hartshill School on the map finishing 1st in the the Warwickshire Schools County Cross Country Championships and 7th in the English Schools Cross Country Championships.

As well as cross country he also represented the West Midlands in the English School's Track and Field Championships at Gateshead in the 1500 Steeple Chase.

Danny always gives a 100% to his running and is a very popular member of the club. He became the Youth Committees Chairperson and also supports the coaches by assisting in the training of younger athletes.

Major Sporting Achievements: He went onto represent England in the Home International Cross Country in Perth Scotland and also the world School Cross Country in the Czech Republic.

Future Ambition: Continue to grow and develop as an athlete so that he can win more awards & medals ion a international level.
