Application forms must be completed for every position. Curricula Vitae and letters will not be accepted unless they support the information in your form.
Your application form will be sent by second-class post and should be returned by the closing date indicated in the advert. Applications received after the closing date will not be considered.
Your form must be completed in Black Ink or in Arial typeface to facilitate photocopying.
In the interests of the Economy, NBLT will only communicate further with short-listed applicants. If you have not been contacted within 28 days of the closing date, you should assume that your application has been unsuccessful.
NBLT will retain all received application forms and short-listing information for eight months following the date of appointment, after which time they will be destroyed.
Before you can be confirmed in post, NBLT must ensure that you are legally entitled to work in the UK. To satisfy this requirement, you will be asked to produce documentation to prove eligibility. If you require a work permit in order to take up the position you must state this on the application form. Please refer to Work Permits (UK) for answers to any questions you may have regarding work permits. (Link will open in new window)

Please make sure that you read your form carefully and that all details are correct and complete. A false declaration or omission in support of your application will disqualify you from appointment. If you are successful, and false declarations or omissions are subsequently discovered, this is likely to lead to disciplinary action and may include dismissal.
If you are submitting your application electronically, then you may use the electronic signature. If you are invited to attend for interview, you will be asked to sign the hard copy of your form in order to verify its contents.
