What is an Umbrella Body
An Umbrella Body is one which has registered with the Criminal Records Bureau on the basis that it will countersign disclosure applications on behalf of others who are not registered.
Why might you need to use the service of an Umbrella Body?
• Maybe you lack the necessary administration resources
• You require only a small number of checks per annum
• You do not wish to pay the CRB’s registration fee
• You cannot meet the minimum threshold requirements or the conditions of registration
• Or you need help and assistance in order to comply with the Code of Practice.

Our Service
We provide two types of Disclosure: Standard and Enhanced.
We comply with the CRB Code of Practice and make sure that information about your applicants is handled securely and confidentially.
We supply you with Disclosure applications forms and provide you with detailed easy to follow guidance notes on Form Completion, ID checking and Fraud Awareness.
We thoroughly check each application and aim to send them to the CRB on the same day as they are received.
All disclosures are sent back to you within 24 hours of receipt from the CRB.
Price:
£50 initial fee to cover the administration and setting up of your agreement
£15.00 per application plus VAT (excludes the price of the CRB Disclosure)
