Terms and Conditions.

The use of the “Passport to Leisure” system shall be governed at all times by the Passport To Leisure conditions of use in force from time to time (‘the conditions”)
1.    In the conditions “The Trust” means Nuneaton & Bedworth Leisure Trust; card means “Passport to Leisure” card or Activity Pass; Scheme means the “Passport to Leisure” scheme; “card holder” means the person to whom or for whose use the card is issued by the Trust; “facility” means a leisure activity or activity provided by the Trust.
2.    The scheme is available to residents of Nuneaton and Bedworth over the age of eight. A card will be issued on receipt of a properly completed application form, an administration charge as determined at the time of application and proof of residency within the Borough (including children). The Trust reserves the right to reject
an application.
3.    Membership is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. If the card is lost, stolen or damaged during this period you must notify one of the centres when applying for a replacement card. A £2.00 administration charge is made for replacement cards. Replacement cards will only be valid for the remainder of the existing membership. Successful applicants will be issued with an NBLT Activity Pass incorporating PTL.
4.    The card is not transferable and can only be used by the card holder to whom it has been issued. The card remains the property of the Trust and shall be returned by the card holder at the request of the Trust. The card must be returned to the Trust in the event that the card holder moves to an address outside of the Borough. No refund is payable in the event that a card is returned.
5.    The card must be produced on entry, or when using any facility operated by the Trust in order to benefit from any concessions. Failure to do so will lead to an admission charge being made where applicable and normal prices being charged.
6.    The Trust reserves the right to vary or withdraw concessions at any time without prior notice. Details of current concessions will be displayed at the leisure facilities or are available on request.
7.    In addition to complying with these conditions, card holders are required to comply with facilities rules and regulations, copies of which are available on request. Without prejudice to any liability of the card holder, the Trust reserves the right to withdraw a card, without refund from a card holder who fails to comply with any term, condition, rule or regulation or other reasonable request from the Trust or its employees.
8.    The card can be used for advance bookings (up to 6 days) by telephoning the leisure facilities and quoting your name and card number, or in person on production of your card, or online after a registration process. Once a booking is made, the card holder is liable for the booking, whether or not he/she subsequently uses the facility booked. All bookings must be paid for prior to use. In the event of the card holder not using a facility booked in advance, the computerised management system will place a debt on the card holder’s account and this debt will remain until payment is made, all future usage will be liable to the higher Non Passport to Leisure charge. The card can also be left in place of a deposit when loaning Trust equipment.
9.    The Trust reserves the right to amend or withdraw facility charges and booking arrangements without prior notice.
10.    A card will cease to be valid in the event of:
(i)    The card expires and the card holder does not renew the membership (card holders may not be notified when membership renewal is due).
(ii)    A card holder moves to an address outside of the Borough.
(iii)    The card is withdrawn by the Trust in accordance with paragraph (7) of these conditions.
(iv)    The card holder fails to comply with these conditions of use.
11.    The Trust reserves the right at all times and without prior notice to amend, vary or withdraw the Scheme or any other charge, term or condition thereof.
12.    Nothing within the Scheme, or these conditions is intended to create a legal relationship between the card holder and the Trust or Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council.
13.    An adult aged 16 years or over may receive concessionary rates for a maximum of two children under the age of 8 when swimming.
