Fight Science UK MMA

 
 Adult: This is a MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) class. Our trainer Con, is a Karate Black Belt (3rd Dan), Brazilian Jui Jitsu Blue Belt (under Royce Gracie) and Black Belt in Muay Thai. He teaches individual techniques for each of the matial arts above and also grades each individual. He also teaches a variety of mixed martial art techniques from the above martial arts and also Boxing, Wrestling & Kickboxing. This friendly environment allows you to learn different techniques, get fit and if you want, compete in a MMA bout.
 

CGB Martial Arts

Women: This newly created class is aimed for women to learn kickboxing and self defence in a safe, controlled manner from our trainer Amy (Kickboxing Black Belt trainer).

50+ Morning

 

Come along to our small friendly group who meet every Monday and Friday morning

Activities include keep fit class 9.30am to 10.30am with Anne Smith our experienced mature instructor. Other activities will be available from 9am to 11.30am - these will include Table Tennis and squash.

There will be tea and coffee available from 10.30am.


Karate

 

Phoenix Karate train every Monday evening from 7.45pm under the instruction of Andy Richards (4th Dan).

The Club is dedicated to teaching any person who is interested in learning Wado-Ryu Karate. This style is ideal for both self defence and fitness. You will learn strikes, blocks, body evasions, wrist locks, throws and sweeps.

Kung fu

 

A Chinese martial art combining principles of both karate and judo.

Lau Gar Kung Fu train on Sunday mornings in one of our squash courts. All ages and abilities are welcome.
